Jan 2001 - Improvement?

I started this year by agreeing to do another 365 project. I thought I was mad at first. However, I came to realise as I was in the last week of the 1st 365 that I learned an awful lot, mostly enjoyed it and had kind of got used to taking a photo every single day. I did set some "rules" for myself, mainly saying that I would not be so anal about it and if I missed a day here or there, so what? If it becomes too much, I can drop down to a 52 week project.

What I have noticed is that my photography seems to have improved again, or jumped to a new level for me. Even hubby commented on it. I don't know if it is just that I'm getting better at knowing what I like, or feeling more comfortable in trying out new photographic & editing techniques, but I think that this has been a good month for me so far, photographically speaking. I find I am taking less photographs to get the shot I am after (ie, my hit rate is better)

Here are just a few shots that I like and have been experimenting with. I am sure it won't go unnoticed that some of this is different from my usual stuff and that much of it is B&W. I do tend to do more B&W in the winter months. Although I had to upload them to flickr to post them here, I have put them on as private. I don't know why I haven't felt like sharing, maybe because it is so different for me, hubby & I like them and that's all that matters really

Kerry, these are stunning. You're really making me think I want to do this. You're so amazing to take the time to do this for yourself and still being a fabulous mom of your 3 boys! These are just wonderful, you are at a new level for sure!

Awww, thanks ladies!! I wasn't even sure anyone looked at my blog, lol!

I promise I was going to share some of these on p.org, but life got busy as it tends to do with 3 boys.

Kristen, you CAN absolutely do this, I love seeing how you capture Jackson and absolutely can not wait to see your newborn work ;-D
